After following up other leads the team decides that the coincidental meeting at the internet restaurant was more than just a coincidence and "ghost" is more than just a random prankster. They decide to set a trap for this magical graffiti artist...
Saturday (October 6th, 2028) was quiet around the department but the Ratcatchers were hard at work tracking Nick Tassel's phone records and investigating the roof looking for evidence of the previous night's intruder. Aedan's investigations revealed that Tassel called three peolple on daily basis; Casper Shiipwrite, Benny MacKenzie and Stacy Oanna-Tassel. Ringer revealed that he has had a fear of heights ever since he lost the use of his wings so Max was left to investigate the roof alone. He discovered a variety of garbage including a single black feather. Perhaps more interesting was that he failed to find any finger-prints or indication that a climbing rope had been attached to the roof railing. On Sunday (October 7th) Rob, Ringer and Sean relaxed while Aedan prepared the software needed for the next day. Max took a trip to Tassel's bookstore and charmed the young woman (Katie) working there.
While Aedan and Max were conducting their investigations Rob and Sean searched the city for the perfect place to lay their trap (and Sean was looking for a nice place to 'smoke'). They found a pub that fit all of their requirements (except Sean couldn't 'smoke'). Monday (October 8th) was the day chosen for the sting. Sean and Rob positioned themselves at the pub while Ringer and Max set up next door within easy reach. Aedan remained at the station to trigger the trap. At Sean's word Aedan hacked the controls for the T-field detector network and started writing the word WHO accross the city. The final camera was triggered directly outside of the pub where Rob and Sean waited. They waited for half an hour after that point to no avail. No one suspicious entered the pub during that time. Meanwhile back at headquarters Aedan noticed some suspicious activity when he heard footsteps pass his third floor office heading for the roof. When he heard the foot steps returning he investigated and found Sgt. Terry Cartel returning from the roof.
When the rest of the team returned to headquarters a thurough investigation of the roof lookout room was made and a t-field detector was discretely installed. Aedan stayed late Monday night after the others had returned to the hotel and therefore he was present when the detector went off around 10:30pm. He sneaked up the stairs to the roof room with his gun ready but stopped when he heard voices. Terry was speaking with someone but Aedan could not make out the second person's words. Terry was telling this unknown person about the Ratcatchers and was asking for instructions. Aedan left the room undisturbed and sneaked back to his office to contact his team mates. The team met at the office to decide what to do. On a hunch Rob waited outside and watched the front door. Rob's hunch paid off as Terry emerged and began walking towards the dock. Rob trailed him while the rest of the team followed in a cab. Rob traced Terry to a warehouse on the dock. After Terry had disappeared inside the teenager from the internet restaurant appeared and blatently left the gate open before also disappearing inside the compound.
Mr. Coon, being the impatient coon that he was, followed the boy into the compound. The team split up to follow; Ringer and Rob followed Mr. Coon while Aedan and Sean took an intersecting rout around the warehouse. While in the dark between buildings Mr. Coon, Ringer and Rob met their 'ghost'. The 'ghost' turned out to have wings covered with black feathers like the one Max found on the roof... and this ghost looked distinctly fey. The fey informed the team that they were expected and invited them aboard the tall ship docked at the warf. Aboard the ship they were cheerfully greeted by the Captain. Captain Manny MacLer was a large man with bright red hair and a neatly trimmed beard. The 'boy' who lead them on board was introduced only as Jasper. Manny expressed an interest in the same group that the Ratcatchers were investigating. After some circuitous and indirect discussions it was determined that Manny was interested in Jack rather than Susan's killer.
While Sean lead discussions with Manny, Aedan discretely investigated the many photos decorating the walls. They were all black and white photos of women except for one. The lone colour photo was of a wedding party. Manny was the best man, a black woman was the maid of honour and a stunningly handsome older man was presiding. The groom was fairly non-descript except for the mischevious glint in his expression. The bride was the woman from Serra's photo only happy. Aedan recognized her and asked Manny if he knew Angela. That question got Manny's complete attention. Manny did know Angela since she married his best friend (the man in the picture) and the two had a daugher named Serra, not Gabriella as Aedan initially surmised. Manny believed the whole family to be dead. The team informed him that Serra was not dead, rather she was Prince of Ottawa. This news prompted Manny to propose a trade... Jasper would help the team with thier investigations if someone would introduce the Captain to his long lost god-daughter Serra and help him find Jack. Sean agreed to the trade and Aedan agreed to be the one to travel back to Ottawa with the Captain.
The agreement was sealed. Our heros headed back to the hotel so Aedan could pack to leave aboard the Wave Sweeper.

- Our numbers keep decreasing, and one of our best source of information AND shooter has left. If there is a fight brewing, the odds are just geting less and less favorable.
