Madeira
- Arrived in Madeira. Theo and Mathieu discovered the joy of Portugese beauracracy while trying to set up a meeting with the Prince. Meanwhile the rest of the group attemped to order food using hand signals. That did not go well. They saw a man with magically glowing skin in the restaurant. Julien freaked out and acted like a complete doofus. The man introduced himself as Kevin, commander of Wolves Inc. He helped them get some beer and told stories of his escapades. He left before Theo and Mathieu returned. Mathieu got drunk on beer and ice cream.
- Insert clubbing, sex in a bathroom, and weird squid games here.
- Theo and Mathieu had a meeting with the Prince early in the morning. They deliver the letter from Elle and explained their mission. The Prince regretfully informed them that she couldn't help them (right... and set up a code word and method for picking up the item at the same time). Julien went to a museum.
- Kevin and Brodie the silent cyborg picked up the item and took the group to an industrial lab outside town. There they met millitary, intelligence, and ambassadors from Britian, Ireland, and Portugal. They talked and learned stuff about ireland, Kevin, and Madeira.
- Kevin and Prince Ennis informed the group that the item was a fully viable Angel embryo. Given that angels can not breed true and demons have limited fertility this was a big problem. The resistance was trying to wait until the angels died back to attack again. The message that Regina Thermidore wanted to leave was met with weary disbelief. Julien was proven right. Kevin explained that the two areas of high magic (the gate/storm and the desolation zone) were creating holes between this world and the spirit world.
- A plan was made to try to close the gate by finding the only man who could control the storm - Jasper McManus. Kevin would send a gate mage employee of his (crazy James O'Malloy) to help find Jasper who had last been seen in the company of Kathleen and Clegg Duckworth in Underhill. Mathieu, Theo (after discussing with Elle), and Julien agreed to go. Gawen backed out. Nev decided to return to hunting and asked to be free of the bond to Elle. Elle agreed. It was a bit harder on Nev than Nev expected. Brodie agreed to go as the Prince's representative as a personal favour to the Prince's family.
