Meeting with the Right and Left Hand (and Francois)
- R&LH want to see the Angels eliminated and want Elle to help them do that
- Elle wants a peaceful resolution to the conflict
- Fracois just wants a home/Prince again, he is tired and nervous (although glad to see Nev and Elle)
- When Francois initially tries to approach Nev & Elle he is stopped by hand
- Alan keeps his head down & Rue stands guard
- Nev stays between R&LH and Elle, Gawen guards door outside
- Mathieu and Theo understand fey and pretend that they don't while Gawen doesn't and pretends that he does
- Conversation between Elle and R&LH is mostly in fey
- Rue shows no reactions, Francois becomes subtly more and more agitated
- Francois becomes alarmed near the end of the arguement
- Francois refuses to leave with L&RH and female Hand uses magic to try to force him to leave but Nev tackles him
- Francois swears fealty to Elle and passes out
- Alan choses to stay because it is safer
Zurich
- The crew decides to go to Zurich
- Nev keeps stealing Francois cigarettes
- Zurich is openly mixed race so fey walk openly, this is strange for group
- Gawen and Nev accompany Elle to the bank of Zurich where they meet Ettienne Dobb
- Ettienne is a banker and childhood friend of Elle's
- Meet Ettienne at the Bank of Zurich, his office is elegant
- Elle picks up a package from her security deposit box
- Ettienne escorts them to his home
- The rest go with Rue to visit Hier Zimmerman who works for the Swiss government
- Gnome? working in an office in a renovated old house with a swiss guard on front door
- Agrees to give them temporary visas in return for information or use of thier skills
- Everyone meets back at Ettienne's home
- Quickly meet Ettienne's wife and kids, happy
- Elle shows them what she stole, a case with 8 magically protected vials in it
- Each vial is warm on the ends, cool in the middle and has no obvious means of opening them
- Food, Mathieu sees part of a tattoo on Ettienne's arm and comments
- When they leave (Rue and Elle stay) they notice powerful wards protecting the house
Working for a Living
- Zimmerman has them fill out many many many forms. The do. Some have more fun at it than others.
- Julien is interviewed first and he is asked many questions about his magic... they don't seem to get it even later after many days of teaching
- Gawen is interviewd second and he's very cooperative. Eventually he's asked to look through the big book of photos and to work with an artist to reproduce maps of Calenture and identify his father's contacts
- Theo is interviewed, they don't understand "other" as a race and think he's a warlock, they don't think he has much of use to them so he is allowed to wander free while the others are working, he looks for work, sees Ettienne talking on a public phone, they talk, sees Ettienne's tattoo as he's leaving. Theo also has to go through a physical in human and seagull form to try to convince them he's not a warlock.
- Mathieu is interviewed and he takes great glee in telling them he's a killer and telling stories about his old coworkers that he sees in the big book. He complains about the photo of him.
- Nev is interviewed and also enjoys telling about his kills. He is given the job of translating some private communicaitons from the Regent Calenture to an unknown female angel. The conversaton is about the Prince and she is telling him to find his sex elsewhere and refusing to help him.
- Everyone gets a temporary visa
Just a Little Job
- Zimmerman asks them to map the shifting ley lines that they saw on their way into Switzerland
- Nev, Gawen, and Theo track from the air
- Mathiew (bike) and Julien (van) track from the ground
- Try to track in the day but can't so do it at night
- Success but van breaks down, Julien is pissed off, Mathieu notes that the oil pan has fallen off
- Gawen spots what he thinks is Calenture north of the mountains (shows Theo and Nev)
- Mathieu finds that all the screws have been removed in engine of van, van falls appart, Julien suspects gremlins, bike is messed with and when Mathieu rides it it goes backwards
- Crew finds gremlins, suspect that they are attracted by machinery and ley lines
- Squidboy eats gremlins
