ratcatchers | Warnings: "Going home" (Reply)

Monday morning arrived too bright and too early. Despite his headache Sean was the only one who slept well. As the others slept fitfully due to nightmares, nerves, and injuries Sean dreamed of a peaceful childhood that he never had. The team considered thier options and decided that catching an evening flight out of Edinbouroug would be the fastest trip back to Canada and the least amount of time on Irish soil.

The trip to Scotland was uneventful and everything was going according to plan until the flights to Canada started to be delayed and cancelled. A quick call home revealed that Serra had gone public with the existance of the Fey. The team reported back and was ordered back to Canada ASAP... but there was no indication of when the planes would start flying again. Travelling through the US wasn't any better because the Americian government had closed the US-Canada border.

Sean and Max decided to call in the favour Jasper owed them to find transportation home. (Not via the underhill...) Jasper instructed them to go to the Isle of Man where he would meet them. The team's suspicions proved correct... the storm riding tall-ship WaveSweeper captained by Manny MacLer was to be their transport home. Aedan was thrilled as he had already travelled aboard the ship once before and he absolutely loved storm riding. Max was less than thrilled and felt seasick even thinking about the idea. Aedan and Sean acted as crew as the WaveSweeper caught a storm and rode it westward. Max spent the trip trying to keep his lunch down while Rob kept him company.

They arrived safely in Newfoundland on Friday only to be greeted with the news...
