The team decided that the best way to get the cannister of probably illegal toxic anti-magic sludge into Northern Ireland was toallow Rob to hide it in his spleen hide it in the car and allow Sean to 'talk' their way through. As it turned out the border wasn't as difficult as they expected.
Upon arriving at the MacMannus farm Aedan attempted (and failed) to convince Frank and Erin MacMannus to leave Ireland until the danger passed. Turns out that Lucy's parents knew about her second sight but questioned its accuracy stating that second sight was a notoriously unreliable gift. Erin seemed to be especially resistant to accepting Aedan's warning and Aedan's demo of his shifting skill upset her greatly. Even with the apparent lack of warlocks in the household the doors were warded. Despite time constraints the team was convinced to stay for supper. They stayed hoping that they could convince the MacMannus's to spray the mound that night rather than the next morning.
After supper the household heard a dog howl out back. Mr.Coon and Sean looked out the window and saw a Black Dog like the one they helped in Avalon disappearing behind the barn. The team went into combat mode. Unfortunealty the only weapons that Frank had were two rifles and a cast iron frying pan. Rob politely declined the frying pan in favour of a knife. Rob, Frank, Aedan and Max headed out to the barn while Sean and Erin remained behind in the house.
Max suited up for spraying the anti-magic sludge while Frank brought out the tractor for lights. The fairy mound was surrounded by mists and flickering through the mists were spectral fey warriors. The spirit hunters were stalking towards the house but several split off as the crew from the barn approached. Aeadan and Rob quickly discovered that their knives and guns had no effect on the creatures. Max had more success by spraying them with the toxic goo but when one fell another rose from the mound. The majority of the spirit hunters surrounded Sean's position in the house reaching through the window to try to possess him and drive him outside. A paniced Sean resisted by magically nuking them as they reached for him. This took a physical price out of Sean. Meanwhile Rob and Aedan had figured out that cold iron (such as found in the tractor attachement and goo) was needed to fight the things. The full danger of the attack had also become apparent as the spirit hunters would flow into a person possessing them and forcing them to "Bring the Changeling to the Mound". The chageling in question being Sean. Rob and Aeadan ran to the barn for weapons (an old rake and hammer) while Frank and Max fought their way to the mound. Max was the first to suffer a serious possesion but Rob managed to shake him out of it. The three fought to keep the spirits out of thier bodies and minds but at one point all three were possessed. Aeadan suffered a more serious possession and he managed to smash in the farm house window in his attempt to get at Sean. Sean's full glamour attack was required to shake Aedan out of it. Meanwhile Max was fighting off attacks as he tried to neutralize the fairy mound. Rob and Aedan fought one-on-one but Frank was having more sucess pushing groups of spectres into Max's goo which destroyed them. When Max finally succeeded in neutralizing the mound the remaining spirit hunters dissipated. Sean collapsed and ate half a bottle of asprin.
