Pied Piper/Warnings: "Goodbye to Lee"

Sean threw an Irish wake for Lee Saturday (25 Feb) at Delusion. Ratcatchers, practioners and warlocks all showed up to give thier respects (and drink) to the deceased. Rumours abounded about the nature of Lee's death since the Department had not issued a statement on the event. Not even the Ratcatchers were sure whether or not Lee had died in the line of duty. Most had connected the dots between Lee and Nowhere. Speechs were made in his honour and everyone partied until noon on Sunday.

Monday (27 Febuary) dawned a bit too early for our heros. Max discovered (thanks to the daily newspaper) that the Canadian Parliament was to vote on the unammended "Thaumaturgical Police" Bill that afternoon. The team therefore spent an exciting day watching parliamentary television. We'll skip describing that bit. The Bill passed by two votes prompting a press conference where the new Minister and Deputy Minister of Thaumaturgical Affairs were announced as well as the new head of the Department of Thaumaturgical Affairs. The Deputy Minister was Madaline English former Ratcatcher and member of Ms.Danson's inner circle. The Director of DTA was Director Watts to no one's surprise. Director Watts announced that the new national head quarters would be located at the Canught Building located between the US Embasy and the Chateau Laurier.

The official funeral for Lee took place at Delusion on Tuesday (28 Febuary) it was a low key affair. After the funeral was the reading of Lee's will... invitation only. Ashley Lawrence was given Lee's share of Delusion while Ms. Danson came into possesion of all Lee's personal journals except one. That one was Lee's dream journal and it was given to Sean. Mr. Coon got Lee's costume trunk while Max got a bottle of Rum and instructions to get drunk. Rob inherited Lee's extensive porn collection for instructional purposes. Lee's final request was that his ashes be spread on the soil of Ireland.

After spending several days waiting for THE phone call it finally arrived on Wednesday (1 March). The Ratcatchers would go back to work Monday. Rob was busy in the meantime. He contacted Mr. Larson and Yuri with warnings. Yuri, Faik and Rob met at the race track where Rob advised the two fey of the situation. Yuri, of course, ran straight to his father and the Prince with the news. This resulted in Ms. Danson dropping in on Rob unannounced. Sean and Max were invited to the 'party'. After a terse meeting with the Deputy Director it was determined that the trio would travel to the UK and Ireland to make contact with various groups and to try to find out what D'Ange's connections to Ireland were. Spreading Lee's ashes would work as their cover story. They have four days to complete all thier tasks.
